Hey there dessert lovers! Today we are featuring two classic treats that are always a crowd pleaser, brownies and blondies.

Whether you are a chocolate lover or a fan of vanilla-based desserts, there’s a recipe for everyone to enjoy. Let’s dive in!

First up, brownies. Who doesn’t love a riche, chocolaty brownie?

The key to making perfect brownies is finding the right balance between gooey and cakey. If you like your brownies extra fudgy, try adding an extra egg yolk to the recipe. And if you like them on the cakey side, choose a recipe with a leavener or a higher ratio of flour.

Another way to take your brownies to the next level is to add in some fun mix-ins. Chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and even a swirl of peanut butter or caramel can add extra flavor and texture. But if you are a purist, a classic fudgy brownie can be just as delicious on its own.

Now, let’s talk about blondies. If you are not a fan of chocolate, or just want something different, blondies are the way to go. These vanilla bars are just as delicious as brownies and can be just as versatile.

To make blondies, you will kneed a simple batter of butter or oil, brown sugar, eggs, and flour. Then it’s up to you what kind of mix-ins to add. As far as I’m concerned, it’s these fun additions that make the treat!

We love using chopped up candies in our blondies. Though we also loved cookies like Oreos or frosted animal crackers. You can use dried cranberries, nuts, or chocolate chips if you want.
