It is wonderful the way it is, but you can top it with your favorite burger toppings. Add more mustard or ketchup if you want.

Or serve it with a pile of lettuce and a drizzle of thousand island dressing to give it Big Mac vibes. There really is no wrong answer to what you add, let your taste buds be your guide.

If you don’t have fries in the freezer, you can use tater tots instead. Then you’d have a cheeseburger tater tot casserole, and who wouldn’t love that?!

All you need is a simple green salad or a veggie side dish and dinner is done. Not to mention everyone will be excited to sit down and eat.

If you want more cheeseburger inspired recipes, try making crockpot cheeseburgers or cheeseburger pasta. Either is delicious, but be sure to make this casserole first!
