Lemon roasted shrimp is such a super simple recipe, but so delicious! Try roasting your shrimp for a fast and flavorful appetizer or entrée. With 5 ingredients and only 6 minutes in the oven, it doesn’t get much easier.

Shrimp are always welcome on the menu with our family. Whether it’s a shrimp boil, shrimp scampi or good old fashioned shrimp cocktail, we don’t discriminate we only enjoy!
Roasting shrimp is a quick and easy way to get them on the table. These beauties don’t get easier to make with only a handful of ingredients and a few minutes in the oven.
Serve them as an appetizer or make them the center of the meal. Just tell me you’ll try them!
These shrimp didn’t stand a chance! Shrimp is an absolute favorite in our house anyway. I think shrimp and steak are two of my husband’s all time favorite foods.
Then there is Little Dude. I was trying to get him to eat something dinner when he was one and half or so.
He was refused, saying “I like shrimp.” Like if it’s not shrimp, it’s not worth eating! So anyway, the minute they heard shrimp was on the menu, they were hungry!
I served these delicious little shrimp as an entrée for dinner. They would also make a fun appetizer.

They can be served warm like we had them, or chill them for a deliciously flavorful shrimp cocktail.

With just a few minutes in the “marinade” the shrimp take on just a bit of lemony flavor and the salt and pepper have a chance to work their way in a bit too.
Then about 6 minutes in the oven and you are ready to eat. If you want them cold for a party, make them the morning ahead or even a day ahead and store them in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
Have a few lemon wedges and some cocktail sauce on hand and you are ready to go!
I think it will be a while before we even try another way to make shrimp for the 3 of us, we liked it that much. We have one of our annual shrimp boils coming up, so the freezer is stocked.
I hope they make it until the party. Otherwise we’ll have to buy another case!

Are the shrimp already peeled or just deveined
I usually use just deveined. I would imagine peeled would work as well, just watch them so you don't overcook them.
Thank you!
Shrimp is my favorite seafood, but I rarely make it at home. This recipe, however, may just change that! Pinning and actually trying this soon! 🙂
It is such an easy way to fix it. I hope you love these tasty little shrimp as much as we do! Thanks!
