Whip up your own white hot chocolate mix, it is beyond easy! It just takes a handful of ingredients and maybe ten minutes if you take your time. Then you can make creamy white hot chocolate all winter long.
A Perfect Homemade Gift
It is the perfect way to warm up on a chilly day. Or pass out jars as gifts for neighbors, friends and teachers at Christmas.
At Christmastime we like to sprinkle in edible gifts for our friends and family. They are fun to make and folks are happy to receive them.
This white hot chocolate powder makes a perfect little present because the recipient can enjoy it easily. Only a mug and hot water are required, no additional ingredients are needed.
Plus, once it has been used there is nothing to dust, no rearranging to find it a permanent home. Just pure enjoyment!

Luckily it only takes 5 simple ingredients to whip up a batch. If you have a big food processor (at least 10 cups), it only takes a few minutes as well.

This white hot chocolate pairs well with so many flavor profiles. It is great on its own, of course. It has a rich white chocolate flavor.
The traditional marshmallow topping is good, so are cute chocolate Rudolph marshmallows. Or try a little candy cane for peppermint undertones.
Feel free to experiment with a fresh grating of nutmeg. Or use this mix as a powdered coffee creamer. Wouldn’t that be amazing? It would be like an instant white chocolate mocha.

You can even use some of your homemade mix to make white hot chocolate cookies. See, the possibilities really are endless!
Well I have worked up a thirst just thinking about it. So I hope you give this yummy mix a try.
Is white chocolate just vanilla?
No, white chocolate is made with cocoa butter, sugar, milk products and a bit of vanilla. It doesn’t have chocolate solids, and doesn’t taste like chocolate, but it is different than vanilla baking chips.

Add Something Extra
We like making this white hot chocolate mix recipe as written so we can add other flavors like candy cane bits or cinnamon when we make the mug of hot cocoa. However, you can blend those extra flavors into the mix if you want.

Yes you can! It is delicious either way, but creamier with milk.
I am making white chocolate cocoa bombs, with crushed peppermint, would this work well as the mix?
Yes! This would be perfect for hot chocolate bombs. How fun!
I'm thinking about making a peppermint white hot cocoa mix, think it'll be easier to throw in some soft peppermint puffs into the food processor while everything else is whizzing up, of hard peppermint candies?!
That should work well! Stirring in some crushed candy canes after the food process would be pretty as well. I love peppermint white hot chocolate!
It is hard for me to believe but I have not made white hot chocolate. I guess that it is about time! Thank you for sharing.
It is about time for sure! I hope you enjoy it!
Is these measurements by the jar and if Yes what size is the jar
It makes about 6 cups, so 3 pint size jars is what we normally use. However you could easily break it up into 6 smaller jelly jars if you are giving it as gifts.

I'm going to pick up some of the ingredients that I don't have on hand. I will make up a batch this afternoon so it will be ready for me this evening when I curl up on the couch. I can hardly wait. Thanks for sharing.
YAY! I hope you enjoyed it!
How many servings are there?
It makes about 24 servings, or 6 cups of mix.
Thanks for this recipe.Just found some milk bottles with red lids today, and thought they'd be great to fill with a white hot chocolate mix as xmas gifts….can the amount of both sugars be reduced without compromising the recipe?
I can't see why not. In fact, I might give that a try myself next time I make a batch. That will be so cute in milk bottles with red lids. How fun!
I love white chocolate and will definitely make this again!
