Wildgrain is a bread and pasta subscription service that delivers sourdough bread, fresh pasta and artisan pastries to your door. It is an easy way to get fresh bread from small bakeries on your table.

I received a Wildgrain box to review, but I am also a subscriber. As always, all opinions are honest and my own. #WildgrainReviewToday #AD
If you love fresh bread straight from the oven, you have to check out Wildgrain’s subscription bread, pastry and pasta boxes. You can have a fresh baked treat in less than 25 minutes.
We love trying subscription boxes. There are so many options and there really is something for everyone.
When I saw a friend recommending Wildgrain, I knew I had to check it out. The croissants looked amazing and it’s hard to say no to a loaf of fresh crusty bread.
What is Wildgrain
Wildgrain is a subscription service that delivers sourdough bread, pastries and/or pasta right to your door. You can choose and all bread and pastry subscription or you can add fresh frozen pasta to the box.
All of the bread is slow fermented and baked to perfection before being frozen and shipped to your home. You take a loaf from the freezer and put it in a preheated oven for fresh baked bread in no time.
The loaves are crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. They are perfect for serving with any meal or for using in recipes.

The pastries are also baked from frozen. The croissants are shipped as formed dough and bake into flaky bites of heaven.
And let me tell you about the chocolate croissants. Little Dude and I fell in love after the first bite.
If you choose to have pasta in your box, it cooks up quickly and is so delicious. We used the fettucine to make some shrimp and broccoli alfredo that was absolutely amazing.
Who is Wildgrain for?
Wildgrain is for you if you love the taste of fresh sourdough bread, but don’t have the time to keep the starter going and bake the bread yourself.
If you like fresh bread without preservatives and you want the benefits of a long fermentation process this subscription service is for you.

Carb lovers who like to have a steady supply of fresh bread, pasta and pastries at their fingertips will look forward to every box.
If you like to support small businesses, but don’t have a local bakery, or you don’t have the time to make frequent trips to the bakery, this is the perfect subscription for you.
To order a box, you can check out Wildgrain’s site for all of the information you need.
What Was in the Box
The boxes vary from month to month, but always include slow fermented sourdough bread. I chose to do the mixed box with bread and pasta.
If you choose to omit the pasta, you get a couple of extra bread items. I believe this month would have been English muffins and brioche rolls.
This month’s mixed box was super tasty and included the following:
- Plain sourdough loaf
- Sourdough walnut bread
- Slow fermented olive oil ciabatta
- Fresh fettuccine
- Fresh tonnarelli
- Chocolate avalanche croissants
- Sourdough whole wheat loaf

Can I make substitutions?
Yes! You get an email 4 days before a box is scheduled to be ordered. You can adjust what is in the box or add in extras if you want. You can choose if you want pasta or more bread items.
Can I skip a month?
Yes. When they email you 4 days before charging your card, you can choose to pause your subscription or skip a month. That way if you will be on vacation or know you won’t use the product you can react before it is shipped.
