You don’t have to be at rock bottom to love this rock bottom pie recipe. This no bake peanut butter pie has Oreo bits inside making it extra delicious. This no bake dessert is sure to be a hit with all of the chocolate and peanut butter lovers in your life.

Sometimes I see a recipe and instantly know I have to make it. That is how it was with this rock bottom pie recipe.
I saw B. Dylan Hollis’s short on Youtube and knew that my family would love it. It isn’t too super different than the peanut butter pie with Oreo crust that we already know and love.
But the couple of little differences seemed fun enough that I just had to make it. It looked like he found it in a community cookbook from the 1990s.
I believe it, because those were my pre-teen and teenage years and this is something that we totally would have made. Who knows, maybe we even did. Though, I would I think I would have remembered this gem.

Most no bake peanut butter pie recipes have some powdered sugar in the filling, but not this one. It has some crushed Oreo pieces mixed in instead.
That little change means the filling is just barely sweet. It only has the sugar from the Cool Whip to balance out the peanut butter and cream cheese.

Then there are bits of Oreo cookies throughout. They add both texture and flavor that help to take the pie to the next level.
We enjoyed it just the way it was, but you could definitely drizzle it with some hot fudge if you want to take it to the next level.

I might need to add some toffee bits to this bad boy!
Ooooh, that’s a great idea!
hi – I’m going to be 70 in a couple weeks and love your recipes – this pie is something I will keep making but will it ruin it if I use low fat and healthy cool whip – just trying to keep healthy and cut out sugar when possible – help!
I think that should work just fine! We all need to make a few substitutions here and there. 😉 Thank you so much!
Cream cheese, yes, please! This looks absolutely scrumptious!
It really is and so easy to make!
