Are you tired of having to remember if you need to pick up packets of ranch seasoning? Then make your own!

This easy homemade ranch seasoning recipe is made from spices you likely already have in your cabinet. Plus, you can customize it to match your flavor preferences.

There are some circumstances where doing it yourself is actually easier than done for you. This homemade ranch seasoning may be one of those things.

A lot of recipes call for ranch seasoning. We love it in everything from a cheddar ranch cheese ball to buffalo ranch spiced nuts.

You and also use it to make seasoned oyster crackers or a parmesan ranch snack mix. The uses for ranch are almost endless.

If you are like me, sometimes it is a struggle to remember what you already have at home when you are at the grocery store. Inevitably, if I pick some up, there are already 5 in the cabinet. But, if I skip them, we don’t have any.

Luckily, all of that back and forth is mute if you know how to make your own. So you can save yourself the grocery store struggle!

Storage

Keep your ranch seasoning in a jar with an airtight lid. Like other spices, it should be stored in a cool, dry, dark place, like your pantry or spice cabinet.

Homemade seasonings keep really well. If you start with fresh spices, a mix like this can last up to 6 months in the cabinet.

Using Your Seasoning

Of course you can use your ranch mix to make homemade salad dressing. The secret to the good dressing is making it. The bottled stuff can’t stand up to the good stuff you make yourself.

You can also make it into a dip. Just stir some into sour cream or greek yogurt and you are good to go. You can even stir it into cottage cheese if you want, anything goes!

Even if you don’t want dressing, sprinkling ranch seasoning into a recipe is a great way to add big flavor. It makes all of the difference in crockpot creamy ranch pork chops.

Making more

I recommend making a small batch the first time to make sure you like the flavor profile as is. Then, scale the recipe up once you have it dialed in.

Then you can have homemade ranch whenever you want without any extra effort!

What are you waiting for? It’s time to make some ranch!
