Can I substitute chili seasoning for taco seasoning?
In a pinch, you can. Chili seasoning and taco seasoning do share similar flavors, though the spice mixes have different proportions. You can also make your own taco seasoning if your prefer.
How much chili seasoning should I use?
Most chili seasoning packets you’ll find at the grocery store are approximately 1 ounce. This equals 2 tablespoons of this homemade seasoning mix. So each batch equals about 3 standard pots of chili.
