The cream cheese and sour cream give the dressing some tang that helps to balance out the sweetness. The brown sugar gives it some depth of flavor with caramel notes.

Using a mix of red and green grapes give it extra visual appeal. Though, you could use one or the other if you want to.

Top it all with some toasted pecans and a little extra brown sugar. The combination is fabulous!

Plus, you know we Midwesterners love calling something like this a salad. It makes in an acceptable side dish!

In fact, my aunt made a strawberry pretzel salad for Christmas. It was on the dessert table and my whole family commented how it was funny that it was there. It belonged with the salads. 😆

Carlee’s Tips and Tricks

If you want, you can use Greek yogurt in place of the sour cream.

You can add chopped Snickers or Heath bars if you want to make this even more of a treat. It would be very similar to Snickers apple salad, but with grapes.

This salad is best if it has a chance to chill for a bit but is also best within the first couple of days after it is made. So make it the day before or the morning of the meal.

You can try mixing in other fruits, but be aware of what you are adding. Some fruit will add their juices to the dressing, making it thin out. So, add those fruits closer to serving time.

You will find that grape salad is a huge hit at BBQs, carry-ins, and more. It is also a great sweet addition to holiday meals. Make a batch soon to see just how good it is.

Signature that says Enjoy! Carlee.
