If you are looking for a flavorful dinner idea, these baked maple Dijon pork chops are for you. They are cooked in a sweet and savory sauce that helps to make them tender and tasty. You are going to love how simple and delicious this recipe is.

When trying to get an economical dinner on the table, it is hard to go wrong with pork chops. You can often find them on sale and there are so many ways you can cook them.
I’ll admit, they can have a reputation for being a bit dry. However, that reputation is totally unearned.
People have a tendency to overcook them, which is a shame because a well cooked pork chop is really tender and delicious. In fact, many of our favorite meals include pork chops.
When you cook them in a sauce, like in this recipe, that just helps to keep them even more juicy. Especially if that sauce includes things like maple syrup and mustard.

If that combination sounds strange to you, think about how good honey mustard is. We love it on honey mustard grilled pork chops and honey mustard pork loin.
This is a lot like that, but with maple syrup instead of honey. It has a similar vibe but is also something unique.
Plus you can make this whole recipe from start to finish in about 30 minutes. It’s hard to beat that!
They are tasty enough for company but quick enough for a weeknight meal. That is our favorite kind of recipe around here!

Carlee’s Tips and Tricks
We love thicker pork chops because they are easier to keep tender and juicy. If you are using thinner chops, just keep an eye on them to make sure you don’t overcook them. Pork chops are done at 145°F.
Browning the pork chops a bit adds a layer of flavor that is hard to beat. However, you can skip that step if you really want to. Just add a couple of minutes to the bake time instead.
You aren’t going to want to waste a drop of the sauce. So, make sure to serve something like mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, or rice with the meal so you can sop it all up.
We thought they were delicious with some roasted green beans or roasted brussels sprouts, but they would be delicious with any number of veggie sides.
That’s about it. It’s time to make dinner.
