These pork chops are coated in a sweet and tangy maple Dijon sauce made with real maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic, and a touch of apple cider vinegar, then baked until tender and caramelized. This easy recipe is packed with flavor but only takes a few simple pantry staple ingredients. It might just become a regular on your dinner menu!
Preheat the oven to 400° and spray a 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Heat 2 Tablespoons cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown 4 pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side. Place the pork chops in the baking dish.
In a medium bowl, whisk together ⅓ cup maple syrup, 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard, 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 2 cloves garlic, 1 teaspoon garlic salt, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes. Pour the sauce over the pork chops.
Bake uncovered for 18 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Spoon some of the sauce from the pan over the pork chops before serving.
Notes
Add more or less red pepper flakes to match your spice preferences.
If you are using thicker or thinner pork chops, adjust the bake time accordingly. Use a meat thermometer to make sure they aren't over or undercooked.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
