This creamy alfredo pasta bake features bacon and peas, making it a delicious meal that the whole family will love. It is pretty simple to make and is going to be requested over and over again.

If you are looking for a dinner that everyone will look forward to eating, this alfredo pasta bake is it! It is creamy, savory, and filled with flavor.
The Stanley Tucci pasta casserole has been having a minute on TikTok. While it looks great, I thought there were definitely ways it could be made simpler.
Rather than making a bechamel sauce, I used some jarred alfredo sauce. You could certainly make your own of either, but the idea was to simplify.

Then, rather than using pancetta I used some bacon. It still gives you that salted pork goodness, but is a more accessible ingredient for American households.
Other than that, you just need some pasta, onion, peas, garlic, milk, and cheese. With an ingredient list like that, you know it is going to be good.

While I was busy adjusting the recipe, I was tempted to try making it a no boil recipe. We love no boil baked ziti and no boil rigatoni and meatballs.
I decided against it though, because the bacon was going to need to be cooked ahead of time. So, I opted to boil the noodles and reduce the oven time considerably.
I know it sounds like this casserole is going to be heavy with the alfredo sauce, bacon, and cheese. However, it feels surprisingly light when you eat it.

The pasta is just coated in the creamy goodness and the peas help to balance it all out. This is going to be a dinner that you will want to make over and over again.
That’s enough carrying on about how good this is. I hope you give it a try and love it!
Picking A Pan
I used a 3.5 quart pan that could easily be transferred from the stove to the oven. If you prefer to use a casserole dish, mix everything together and put it in a 9×13-inch pan or similar sized pan. Top it with cheese and pop it in the oven!
