3 Ingredient Strawberry Orange Sorbet

Dessert doesn’t get much easier than this!  Strawberry orange sorbet has only three ingredients and no processed sugar. It is a great refreshing treat without any guilt.

Sorbet is a cold and flavorful way to eat you fruit and enjoy it too! This recipe is super simple and includes only strawberries, orange juice and honey.

The results are a perfect way to cool down on a warm day. They are also a great way to indulge your sweet tooth without any guilt.

Tips and tricks

Have fun with this recipe. You could very easily substitute in other berries for the strawberries.

Think of how delicious a mixed berry version of this sorbet would be. Anything that would combine well with orange juice would work.

If you use frozen berries, the food processor will do most of the work of making the sorbet. You could almost serve it right from the processor bowl.

It would likely freeze slightly harder if you froze it without churning it. I suppose it wouldn’t be that much different than making pumpkin nice cream or peanut butter chocolate nice cream.

Ingredients 

  • pounds strawberries
  • cups orange juice
  • ¾ cup honey

Instructions 

  • Puree the strawberries in a blender or food processor.
  • Add the orange juice and honey and blend until fully combined.
  • Pour into the bowl of your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's directions.
  • Freeze until ready to serve.

    This is very yummy and healthy. I cut the honey in half. Makes a wonderful dessert with a few chocolate sprinkles.
