Making the Sliders

Start by browning a pound of ground meat. I used ground venison this time, but ground beef, ground turkey or even some bulk sausage would work wonderfully.

Add a can of pizza sauce and you are well on your way to tasty sliders. Pile the meat on top of halved dinner rolls.

Most sliders are made on Hawaiian rolls. That would be absolutely delicious here too, some of our favorite Italian subs are made on a sweeter bread.

However, my husband isn’t a huge fan. So I used butter rolls instead.

Potato rolls or your favorite dinner rolls would also work. Layer slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the meat then add to top of the rolls.

Brush the tops with garlic butter and cover your fan with foil. Bake until the sandwiches are melty and then take the foil off to toast the tops a bit.

The resulting sandwiches are soft and cheesy on the inside with a bit of a buttery crunch on the outside. They are lick your fingers delicious.
