Flavored nuts are always such a great snack. There are almost an unlimited number of flavors to try.

We recently enjoyed a batch of chili dusted peanuts. You can also make buffalo ranch mixed nuts.

If you like sweet and salty, you will love southern spiced pecans, too. They have a nice blend of savory spices and a bit of sugar balance them out.

When your sweet tooth is acting up, you might want something even sweeter, though. That is where these mocha almonds come in.

They only take a few minutes to put together, and they taste amazing. Just coat some toasted almonds in a little bit of melted chocolate.

Then, you toss them in a mixture of powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and coffee powder. You can use instant coffee or even espresso powder to get that lovely mocha flavor.

They are a lot like skinny dipped almonds, but you get to make them yourself. And let me tell you, they were a big hit with the adults at family dinner.

My dad went nuts for them. 😜My brothers and I loved them as well.

Unfortunately, that meant this whole batch was gone in just a couple of days. If you have more restraint than that, you can make a batch and snack on them for a couple of weeks.

What are you waiting for? Whip up a batch!

These almonds have me so intrigued. What a great healthy snack idea. I could bag them up as Easter treats too.
