If you are pecan pie obsessed, this is the fudge for you! It has the rich flavors that you love in the pie with a creamy melt in your mouth texture.

Of course I love a good pecan pie. However, my brother takes the cake with his pecan pie infatuation.

He can put away an impressive amount of pie. So, in an effort to keep him satisfied we have come up with quite a number of pecan pie variations and pecan pie adjacent recipes.

One of his favorites is pecan pie cheesecake. He requests it every year for his birthday.

Then there is the caramel pecan pie, which has a great base made from caramel candies. We also love pecan pie bars and pecan dream bars.

This is our first foray into turning into a fudge though. In a lot of ways it is similar to condensed milk pecan pie.

It has a creamy base with notes of vanilla. However, the dark corn syrup and maple extract help to give it traditional pecan pie vibes as well.

Top it all with some crunchy toasted pecans and you are sure to fall in love. This is such a fun treat that would be perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any time you need a little bite of something sweet.

The best part is that it really only takes a few minutes to put together. It is such a fun treat!

Line The Pan For Easy Cutting

Lining your pan with foil or parchment paper is not absolutely necessary, but it allows you to lift out the block of fudge to cut it into cleaner squares. If you want to serve it straight from the fan, feel free to skip this step.

The easiest way to line the pan with foil is to smooth it over the bottom of the pan first. Then turn pan over, and gently fit shaped foil into pan.

For parchment, try to crease the corners to hold it in place.

Notes

Fudge should be stored in an airtight container. It holds well on the counter at room temperature and will last there for at least a week. For longer storage, put your airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. You can even freeze it for several months of storage.
