Easy Substitutions:

No Bake Peanut Butter Cheerio Bars

No-bake peanut butter Cheerio bars combine the crunch of the cereal in a chewy peanut butter coating. They are simple to make and are perfect for snacking or a quick and easy dessert.
Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 5 minutes
Total: 10 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 6 cups Cheerios
Makes: 9 x 13inch rectangle1inch height

Instructions 

  • In a large saucepan, cook sugar and corn syrup over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
    1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup light corn syrup
  • Turn off the heat and stir in the peanut butter until combined.
    2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • Add the Cheerios and stir to coat.
    6 cups Cheerios
  • Press into greased 9×13-inch pan. Cut into squares while warm, but allow to cool completely before serving.
