Magic Cookie Bar Pie

Magic cookie bar pie features all of the things you love about the cookie bars in pie form. The filling is loaded with coconut, pecans, chocolate, and more. The best part is that it only takes a few minutes to put together. The oven does the rest!

If you like magic cookie bars, or hello dollies, or 7 layer bars, or whatever name you have for them, this is the pie for you!

The filling has all of the things you would expect, plus a few extras for good measure. Rather than being built on a graham cracker crust, the graham crackers and butter are mixed in.

Then, just like in macaroons or almond joy cookies, the sweetened condensed milk holds everything together. There is no need for eggs or other binders.

I used a finely shredded coconut for this pie because I had some left from making coconut snowman candies. You can use the sweetened coconut flakes you find in the baking aisle if you want to.

You can also sub out the caramel bits for butterscotch chips. Or you can make a peanut version using peanuts instead of pecans and peanut butter chips instead of the caramel.

You can also use a graham cracker crust if you prefer. There are so many fun ways to make this recipe your own!

    Can this pie be frozen?

    1. Yes. You can freeze it whole or as individual slices. Just warm it up a bit again when you serve it.
