This fun green twist on a sherbet punch is bright and delicious. With plenty of lime, pineapple and fizzy ginger ale, it is tasty. We used it as slime punch at a science party, but it would also be great at a Ghostbusters party!

A party needs punch. It’s just a fact.
It just makes it so much more fun. My husband and son are especially fond of sherbet punch, so we whipped up the green slime version for Little Dude’s science birthday party.
It was a limey hit!
Ever since the first taste of aloha punch, my husband and Little Dude have been hooked on sherbet punch. The mix of ginger ale, pineapple juice, punch and sherbet gets them every time.
I love how easy it is to make and how many fun variations we can do. Little Dude and I spent some time evaluating the possibilities for his birthday party.

He ended up picking green punch as the base which worked out perfect as slime was on our slate of activities. Of course that called for a tub of lime sherbet to keep the ecto green color going.
The mix of the kiwi strawberry flavor with lime sherbet and pineapple juice was actually really refreshing. The ginger ale helps lighten up the mix a bit and gives it just a hint of fizz.
This recipe nearly tops our two gallon beverage dispenser, but we make the whole thing every time. Our party goers enjoy the punch and my boys are always happy if there is some leftover.

I just put whatever is left in a pitcher in the fridge and it never lasts long. They are always disappointed when it is gone!
You may also like the pink yink drink (pink sherbet punch) we made for his Dr. Seuss party last year. Or for a different style of punch, my grandma make a fun peach slushy style punch!
Do you make punch for parties? I’d love to hear about your favorite recipes!
If you love lime sherbet, you will want to be sure to try our layered lime sherbet bars as well! They are a sweet and salty frozen treat.
