If you like chocolate lava cakes, you are going to love is chocolate cobbler. It has a similar gooey and cakey chocolate combination but is easier to make.

It also has a very similar texture to baked chocolate pudding, but it is made in the crockpot. I know you all love crockpot recipes, so this is a fun dessert option for you!

When you load everything into the crockpot, it isn’t going to look like much. As it cooks, the cake layer rises to the top and a gooey pudding-like layer is left on the bottom.

If we are being completely honest, it doesn’t look like much when it is done either. It will probably look a bit like something went wrong.

However, if you trust the process and get a scoop out you will instantly change your mind. That rich chocolate goodness is sure to win you over.

Keep and eye on it

While most crockpot recipes can be cooked for quite a bit longer than a recipe suggests, this is one that you will want to keep your eye on. If it is overcooked, there will be less of the pudding layer to enjoy. Once the top looks fully set, go ahead and dig in.

Chocolate cobbler is fabulous on its own but, like most gooey chocolate desserts, a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a little bit of whipped cream will really make it shine. Do yourself a favor and try this one soon.
