If you are looking for an easier way to make a holiday ham, you are in the right place. You cook this tender and flavorful ham in a slow cooker. It doesn’t get easier than that!

It only takes a few minutes of prep and 4 simple ingredients. It cooks while you get the rest of the meal together.

Plus, then there is plenty of room in the oven to make a french onion cheesy potato casserole and pineapple casserole. Both of which are delicious with ham.

Or keep the oven off completely and make some Instant Pot mac and cheese and steamed broccoli like we had.

Make Sure It’s Done

The exact amount of time you will want to cook the ham varies based on the size of the ham. If you have a smaller ham (4-5 pounds) you can reduce the cooking time to about two hours.

The internal temperature should read at least 145°F before serving.

Perfect for Holidays or Any Day

Ham is a holiday staple, so of course, you can make this recipe for Easter, Christmas, or Thanksgiving. However, once you see how easy it is to make, you will also make it randomly throughout the year.

Your family won’t complain. Not only will you have a delicious meal the day you make it, but you will have plenty of leftovers.

Of course, those leftovers will make great sandwiches. You can also use them to make so many taste leftover ham recipes.

So you will keep winning compliments at the dinner table. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Storage

Cooked ham can be kept in the refrigerator for up to five days. Store in an airtight container or tightly wrapped in plastic for best results.
