By now you know that I love making homemade ice cream recipes. There are just an endless number of flavor variations.

This coffee flavored recipe is build on my eggless vanilla ice cream recipe. A little bit of instant coffee is all it takes to add the coffeehouse flavor.

It is great on its own or drizzled with hot fudge sauce. It would also be great with a homemade brownie.

If you have never had coffee ice cream with pecan pie, that is something you need to try too. My husband’s cousin introduced us to that combo a few years ago and I can’t get it out of my mind!

All of this to say you absolutely have to make this ice cream. Just don’t eat it too late at night if you are sensitive to caffeine.

I may or may not have had trouble sleeping after having a little too much too close to bedtime! 😆

Don’t let that deter you, though. It is totally worth the risk and I would do it all over again!
