If you are craving toasty gooey s’mores, but don’t want to build a campfire, you are in the right place. I’ll show you how to make s’mores in an air fryer for a quick and easy treat.

There is just something special about the combination of a perfectly golden marshmallow, melted chocolate and graham crackers. The classic s’more is legendary for good reason and now you can make them in less than 5 minutes with the help of your air fryer.
Of course sitting around a campfire is the best way to enjoy a s’more, but that isn’t always practical when the craving hits. So over the years we have tried several ways to make them indoors.

You can use the microwave to melt the marshmallows, but they won’t get that golden brown exterior. Plus that method tends to make the graham cracker a little soggy.
Turning on the oven is another alternative, but it is easy to char the marshmallows under the broiler. Warming up the whole oven feels like overkill for a couple of s’mores.
Using the air fryer, however, allows you to get great texture and browning. It is the perfect way to make just a few s’mores when the feeling strikes.
Tips and Tricks
This recipe is pretty straightforward, so there aren’t a ton of tips. Actually it feels a little silly calling it a recipe because it’s so simple, but it is worth knowing.
Lining your air fryer basket makes clean up easy. That way if a gooey marshmallow decides to fall over there’s no sticky mess in the air fryer.

Feel free to adjust quantities if you like more or less chocolate or marshmallows on your s’mores. You can stretch your chocolate bar to make more s’mores if you want.
Experiment with different cookies and chocolates. Try using chocolate chip cookies I stead of graham crackers.
Or use a peanut butter cup in place of the chocolate bar. A chocolate square with caramel inside would be another great option.

You could also spread the top graham cracker with Nutella instead of using a candy bar if desired. Or try a York peppermint thin for a minty twist.
Every air fryer is different, so check your marshmallows after two minutes. They are done when the tops have a nice golden brown color.
