This is a quick and easy recipe for fudge. It only takes 3 ingredients (4 if you want to top it with sprinkles), and you get a delicious creamy layered fudge.

Plus, it is very likely you already have the simple ingredients in your pantry if you are a baker, as they are pantry staples. It only takes a few minutes to put together, so it is a perfect treat for when you don’t have much time.

White baking chips. chocolate chips, condensed milk and sprinkles ready to be made into two tone condensed milk fudge.

In fact, it is so quick you could make it for unexpected guests. Or use holiday sprinkles and use it as a no fuss addition to your Christmas treats.

Because there are two layers of fudge, it looks like you really went all out. Nobody will have to know how easy it is to put together.

The longest part of the whole process is waiting for the fudge to set. And if you do that in the refrigerator, even that step doesn’t take very long.

How Do You Make Condensed Milk Fudge?

Of all of the fudge recipes out there, condensed milk fudge has got to be the easiest to make. Most of the time, you just melt together a can of sweetened condensed milk and a bag of chocolate chips.

To make it two toned, it isn’t much harder. Just divide the can of condensed milk into two equal parts. Then, melt one cup of chocolate chips with half of the condensed milk.

I find the easiest way to do that is to use a short burst in the microwave. My chips were able to be stirred smooth in the condensed milk after only 30 seconds in the microwave.

Spread the bottom layer of fudge into a greased and foil lined loaf pan. My pan was a 9×5″ pan, but you can use whatever you have.

Place the fudge in the refrigerator while you repeat the process with the second kind of chips and remaining condensed milk. In this case, I used vanilla chips.

However, you could easily use peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, or whatever tickles your fancy. Smooth the second layer of fudge over the first.

Then, top with sprinkles or other toppings if desired. You want to do that right away so that they have a chance to stick to the soft fudge.

Chill the fudge to set and then remove from the pan and cut into small squares. That’s all it takes!

Frequently Asked Questions

Fudge will last about 2 weeks in an airtight container at room temperature. Just make sure it’s in a relatively cool place.

You can refrigerate it for up to a month or freeze it for 3 months. Just be sure the container is closed well so the fudge does not dry out.
