If you want to be able to make a creamy, lightly chocolatey frosty at home, this is the recipe for you. It only takes 3 ingredients. The hardest part is waiting for it to freeze.

If you like Wendy’s chocolate frosties, this recipe will allow you to whip up about a gallon of the good stuff at home.
As a kid, if we went to Wendy’s you better bet I was going to angle to get a frosty. That was the best part about going there.
I have seen the recipe online several times, but never followed though on making it. But it occurred to me recently that Little Dude has never had one.

So, I thought it would be fun to make some with him. He loves ice cream treats, so I know he would love these too.
Plus he had been looking for a recipe to make a video for. This seemed like the perfect thing!
Luckily all you have to do is mix up some chocolate milk with sweetened condensed milk and whipped topping. The chocolate milk gives that milk chocolate flavor that makes the frosty one of a kind.
The condensed milk adds some richness and extra sweetness to the mixture. Plus it helps to keep the mixture from freezing so solid.
The Cool Whip also adds airiness and a bit of vanilla to the mixture. Together they make the perfect treat.

Tips and Tricks
Keep the Cool Whip frozen. The colder the mixture starts, the quicker it will freeze.
If you have a large ice cream maker, you can churn the mixture in there instead of pulling it out of the freezer to stir every so often.

Try this recipe with strawberry milk to make a strawberry frosty. Or use milk and Tang for an orange creamisice frosty.

Make some crockpot Wendy’s chili if you want a copycat dinner recipe to go with your dessert.
If you like frozen treats and chocolate, my homemade chocolate ice cream recipe may be for you. There are no eggs and you don’t have to cook it.

Maybe a chocolate peanut butter ice cream cake is more your style. It is still frozen and delicious, but you use store-bought ice cream to make it extra easy.
