Homemade Pancake Recipe

Making pancakes from scratch is super easy and more economical. There is no need to have a box of mix on hand at all times.

This is our favorite recipe for kind of traditional pancakes. It can be whipped up in just a few minutes with ingredients you are likely to always have in the pantry and refrigerator.

bunny butt pancake with drizzle of maple syrup.

The resulting pancakes are the perfect texture. They are soft, flavorful and a great texture.

You can easily adapt this recipe and add fun stir ins if desired. Chocolate chips, blueberries or pecans would make fun additions.

Or do what we did and make the pancake recipe as written and put the fun stuff on top. Of course decorating them like bunny butts is a fun option.

But keeping them simple with butter and maple syrup is always an amazing choice. Or use blackberry sauce and some whipped cream for a fun treat!
