Punch helps make an event feel like a party! It’s just a fact that if there’s a fun punch the party is automatically more festive. Especially if it’s a sherbet punch.

This fun pink punch is perfect served in your punch bowl or a large drink dispenser. It would be perfect for a baby shower or birthday party.

It would also be fun at any sort of reception and I haven’t tried it, but I’d imagine it would be great spiked as well! 🍹

The biggest inspiration for Little Dude’s Dr. Seuss themed party was the memory game we had been playing almost every night for months. We got to know the characters pretty well.

While we were all happy to get any match (and ruthlessly beat the others!) We each had our favorite pairs to get.

Of course our Christmas obsessed little one always wanted the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, Max (the dog) and the mayor of Whoville.

I alway kind of liked the Lorax. My husband always wanted that pink ink drinking winking yink. So I knew we’d have to have pink ink at the party.

I’ve done a few variation of my aloha punch at parties now, and they are always a hit. So a pink version seemed like a no brainer.

Little Dude always likes to be the official punch maker, so I just opened containers and let him pour and scoop his way to pink punch goodness.

If you are going to make a full batch, be sure you have a big enough container. You’ll need at least 2 gallons of space.

Otherwise you can make half in a smaller container and be prepared to refill when it disappears!

Most of the pink ink was drunk by all of the yinks wandering about at the party. My guys finished off the rest the next day and decided we shouldn’t reserve punch for parties as they savored the last drops.

I think we’ll still be saving it for parties, but luckily for them we tend to host a few! Do you serve punch at parties? What are your favorite types of punch?
