Ham Cheese and Croissant Brunch Bake
Classic Monte Cristo sandwiches get a makeover with this fun egg casserole. It is sweet and savory and is perfect for making ahead of time so all you have to do is bake it in the morning.
Half and Half
Gather sandwich ingredients and start assembling.
Cut sandwiches in half and arrange in greased baking dish.
Make custard with eggs, half and half and Dijon mustard.
Pour custard over sandwiches and soak for at least an hour, but for up to 2 days.
Bake until eggs in the middle of the casserole are set.
Serve topped with powdered sugar. Feel free to add more preserves or maple syrup if desired.
