Snickers Popcorn

Take your caramel corn to the next level with this snickers popcorn recipe. It features that tasty combination of caramel, peanuts, and chocolate in a fun snackable popcorn form.

Big bowl piled with homemade snickers popcorn with caramel, peanuts and bits of candy bar.

If you like crunchy caramel corn, you are going to love this twist. Adding Snickers candy bars to the mix adds so much great texture and flavor, it is an unbeatable treat!

The recipe makes a nice big batch, so it is perfect for parties and get togethers. However, you could easily half the recipe for a movie night popcorn treat or just because.

One of my coworkers is famous for her Snickers popcorn. She brings it to work occasionally, and I lose my marbles every time.

I just can’t help myself, it is so good. There is something about the crunchy caramel corn with the nuts and chocolate.

The nougat and chocolate both add texture as well as flavor, making each bite unique and fabulous. She hasn’t shared her recipe with me (yet!), so I had to create my own.

I started with our favorite baked crunchy caramel corn recipe and went from there. She adds mixed nuts, which I love.

My guys don’t like nuts though, so I opted for peanuts. It is delicious either way.

Then you need Snickers, of course. I added 4 full size bars which was enough to add plenty of flavor and texture.

You can stop there or drizzle it all with chocolate at the end if you want more chocolate. Once everything is cooled and set, it is sure to win you over.

If you are a huge peanut butter fan, you could try using my peanut butter popcorn recipe as a base instead of caramel corn. It still has all of the crunch you want, just with even more peanut butter! (I am totally trying that next time!)

Just writing about it makes me want to make another batch already. It is so good! I hope you love it as much as I do.
