If you love pecan pie, but want to serve it in a more fun presentation, you are in the right place. This pecan pie dip recipe is perfect for parties, Thanksgiving, or any time you want to enjoy the flavor of pecan pie without turning on the oven.

My brother is a sucker for all things pecan pie. He has been known to eat more than his fair share of a caramel pecan pie and he has requested pecan pie cheesecake for his birthday treat several years in a row.

So, when I heard rumors of the existence of pecan pie dip, I knew I had to make it for him. I just knew he was going to love it, plus it would be an excuse for me to try it too.

I am glad I made it. The cream cheese layer adds a nice texture and flavor contrast to the rich brown sugar and pecan topping.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

You get the flavor of pecan pie without having to mess with making a crust. You don’t even have to turn on the oven!

Because you don’t have to bake it, this dip is a great way to enjoy the flavor of pecan pie during the summer. However, it is also perfect at Thanksgiving as a way to get a taste of pecan pie without committing to a whole slice.

You can make it ahead of time. Just cover it and put it in the refrigerator until you are ready to dig in.

More Dessert Dips

I love making dessert dips for parties. It is fun to have a couple of options so that people can just snack on something sweet without the mess of serving a cake or other larger dessert.

Chocolate chip cookie dough dip is one of our favorites. It tastes just like the best part of the cookies, the dough!

Or whip up some lemon cream cheese dip. It tastes kind of like a lemon meringue pie or lemon cheesecake when served with graham crackers.

A red velvet cheeseball is perfect for events like Christmas or Valentines Day. Or make a cookies and cream cheeseball for tailgating.
