1TablespoonMontreal seasoningor your favorite spice mix
1cupBBQ Sauceyour favorite kind
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 275°F
Place your 1 rack pork ribs on a rimmed baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
While the oven is preheating, use a fork to poke several small holes in the surface of the ribs, like you would to cook a potato.
In a small bowl, combine the ⅓ cup light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon chili powder, and 1 Tablespoon Montreal seasoning.
Massage the spice rub into the meaty side of the ribs, making sure it is completely covered.
Place the ribs in the oven and cook for 4 hours.
Brush ribs with a thin layer of 1 cup BBQ Sauce and cook for an additional 15-30 minutes, or until the BBQ sauce is thick and sizzling.
Use a knife or kitchen shears to cut the ribs, serve with the rest of the BBQ sauce, and enjoy!
Notes
If making multiple slabs of ribs at once, switch the trays from the top to the bottom oven racks half way through cooking.
