Peeps S'mores Dip

S'mores have never been so cute (or so easy!) The melted chocolate base is covered with fun golden and gooey Peeps marshmallows making a fabulous dip for your graham crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups chocolate candies
  • 4 Tablespoons milk or cream
  • 2 3 oz. packages Peeps
  • Dippers such as animal crackers or graham crackers

Instructions

  • Preheat the broiler to low and make sure the oven rack is in the middle position.
  • In an 8 or 9 inch oven safe skillet, melt 1½ cups chocolate candies and 4 Tablespoons milk or cream over low heat. Stir frequently to avoid burning the chocolate. Cook until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Arrange 2 3 oz. packages Peeps over melted chocolate. Place on the middle rack under the hot broiler. Broil until the Peeps are gooey and golden brown. This should take about 5 minutes, but keep a very close eye on it so you don't end up with charred mallows. Unless that's how you like your marshmallows, then char away!
  • Serve warm with your favorite dippers like animal crackers, graham crackers, or pretzels.

Notes

Any extra dip can be put in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Just warm back up for a few seconds in the microwave before enjoying.
