This tasty orange ice cream has cream cheese in the base which gives it a great texture and flavor. This is a wonderful way to make homemade ice cream.
Beat the 8 ounces cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
Stir in the 28 ounces sweetened condensed milk, 2 cups heavy whipping cream, 1 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and Optional: 2 teaspoons orange emulsion. (I did it all in my stand mixer, but you could do it by hand or with a hand mixer.)
Pour into canister and freeze according to your ice cream maker’s directions.
Put in containers and freeze until firm and ready to serve.
