Homemade Malted Hot Cocoa Mix
Malted hot cocoa is a rich, comforting beverage that blends cozy hot cocoa with the distinctive, slightly sweet, and nutty flavor of malted milk powder. Ingredients
Hot Cocoa Mix
- 2½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup dry milk powder
- 1½ cups malted milk powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
To Make Hot Cocoa
- ¼ cup malted hot cocoa mix (4 Tablespoons) or to taste
- 1 cup hot water or milk
Instructions
Make The Mix
- Put all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Whisk together until the mixture is uniform and clump free.
- Transfer to airtight containers or jars until ready to use.
Make Hot Cocoa
- Stir about ¼ cup malted hot cocoa mix into 1 cup hot water or milk. Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, or your favorite toppings.
