Crockpot cheeseburgers are kind of like a sloppy joe, but with a cheesy sauce. Load up a toasted bun with a big scoop and add your favorite burger toppings for a simple and delicious meal.
In a large skillet, brown the 2 pounds lean ground beef, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder over medium heat.
Add the 1 medium onion and cook until translucent. Drain any excess grease.
Add the ground beef to your crockpot. Top with the 12 bread and butter pickle chips, 12 ounces Velveeta cheese, 2 Tablespoons prepared yellow mustard, and ¼ cup milk.
Cook on low heat for about 2 hours or until the cheese is melted.
Stir everything together.
Hold on warm until ready to serve. Then scoop onto toasted hamburger buns and top with your favorite burger toppings.
Notes
If you are in a hurry, go ahead and melt the cheese into the cooked ground beef mixture in the skillet. You can have dinner ready in less than 30 minutes!
