These creamy coconut candies have a nice chewy texture and lovely coconut flavor. The best part is that they are super simple to make too. This condensed milk coconut candy recipe is sure to become a favorite when you need a little something to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Instructions
Combine 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk, ½ Tablespoon butter, and 4 Tablespoons finely shredded coconut in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir constantly until the mixture starts to bubble. Once it boils, keep stirring for about 5 more minutes until it thickens to a dough-like consistency.
Transfer the mixture to a plate and let it cool. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until it’s firm enough to shape, about 30 minutes to an hour.
Once the mixture is ready, form small balls. You can make them any size you would like, but about a Tablespoon each is a good size.
Roll each ball in more shredded coconut to coat.
Store in the refrigerator and enjoy cold or at room temperature.
Notes
If the mixture is too sticky to handle, add a bit more shredded coconut or chill a bit longer.
