Making homemade cookies and cream ice cream is as easy as can be with this simple recipe. It only takes 6 ingredients and you will have a delicious frozen treat.

Ingredients

cups
whole milk
¾
cup
granulated sugar

Tablespoon
vanilla extract

heavy cream

Instructions
Whisk together the milk and sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Stir in the vanilla and a pinch of salt.
Mix in heavy cream until well combined.
Pour into ice cream machine and churn according to the machine's directions.
When the ice cream is most of the way frozen, add the Oreo chunks. Allow to churn for about 5 minutes more to distribute throughout the ice cream.
Scoop into storage containers and freeze until solid enough to scoop.
