We turned one of our favorite sandwiches into a salad. The bacon, lettuce and tomato are so good together in a salad bowl too. It is a perfect side dish for so many meals, especially grilled meats. You are going to want to make this one on repeat all year long!
Optional add ins: croutons/cubes of toast, avocado, egg etc.
Dressing
3Tablespoonsmayonnaise
3Tablespoonssour cream
2teaspoonslemon juice
1teaspoonDijon mustard
⅓teaspoonsalt
1teaspoongranulated sugar
⅓teaspoondried dill
½teaspoongarlic powder
Instructions
Make the dressing by putting 3 Tablespoons mayonnaise, 3 Tablespoons sour cream, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, ⅓ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon granulated sugar, ⅓ teaspoon dried dill, and ½ teaspoon garlic powder in a jar. Tightly cap the jar and shake to mix. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Prepare your salad by chopping 8 cups lettuce, halving 1 cup cherry tomatoes, chopping 8-10 slices crispy bacon. Place it in a bowl and top with ½ cup crumbled feta cheese.
Pour the salad dressing into the bowl with the salad. Add a little bit at a time and stop when it is dressed to your liking.
Mix everything carefully. You can put the salad in the refrigerator for up to 30 minutes before serving. Toss before serving.
If you want to add extras, feel free. If adding croutons or cubes of toast, wait until right before serving.
