Birthday Cake Puppy Chow

Birthday cake puppy chow is a fun sprinkle filled twist on classic muddy buddies. It is coated with Funfetti cake mix to really give that birthday cake flavor. It is sure to be the hit of your next party.

Ingredients

  • 7 cups Rice Chex
  • 10 ounces white candy melts
  • ½ cup sprinkles
  • 1½ cups funfetti cake mix

Instructions

  • Melt candy melts in microwave. Start with 30 seconds, then stir and return to microwave in 15 second intervals being sure to stir between each until it is smooth.
  • Fold in cereal until well coated.
  • Add sprinkles, stirring to distribute.
  • Pour cake mix over the mixture and stir until everything is coated.
  • Spread out on a piece of wax paper to set up before storing in an airtight container.
