Put 2 Tablespoons neutral cooking oil in large skillet over medium high heat.
Salt and pepper 4 pork chops to taste, place pork chops in pan cook 3-4 minutes each side.
While pork chops are cooking thinly slice 1 medium onion and 3 medium cooking apples
When pork chops reach 145℉ in the center, remove to a plate and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. Add 3 Tablespoons butter and onions to pan and sauté for 3-5 min until translucent.
Add ¼ cup chicken broth, apples, 2 Tablespoons light brown sugar, 1 Tablespoon fresh rosemary, and 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon. Sauté 5-7 min or until desired tenderness.
Place pork chops back in pan and cook 3-4 more minutes to rewarm and enjoy.
Notes
Any neutral flavored cooking oil works for this recipe. Vegetable, canola, coconut or avocado oil would be great options.
Use any apple that holds up to a little bit of cooking. Jonathan, jonagold, or granny smith would be delicious.
