Pizza Burger Sliders
Pizza burger sliders have big pizza flavor, gooey cheese and a slightly crisp garlic bread style exterior. They are a fun dinner or game day appetizer.

Ingredients

dinner rolls
1
pound
lean ground beef
¼
teaspoon
salt
¼
teaspoon
ground black pepper

oz.
pizza sauce
4
oz.
sliced mozzarella
2
Tablespoons
butter
½
teaspoon
garlic salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch pan.
Season ground beef with salt and pepper and brown until cooked through. Add pizza sauce and cook for a minute or two to thicken.
Cut dinner rolls in half across the equator. Set the top of the rolls aside, place the bottoms in the greased pan.
Spread meat and sauce mixture over the bottom half of the rolls. Top with slices of cheese, then the top halves of the rolls.
Melt butter and stir in garlic powder. Brush over rolls.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for 5 more minutes.
Notes
You can also use ground pork, venison, or turkey in place of the beef.
Feel free to add other favorite pizza toppings to the mix if you would like.
