Make classic chicken noodle soup with the help of an instant pot or slow cooker. This recipe gives you all of the flavor you want in a really easy recipe.
Put chicken, diced veggies, seasonings and stock in Instant Pot.
Cook on high pressure for 12 minutes. Quick release the pressure.
Remove chicken to a cutting board and add noodles to the pot.
Cook on high pressure for 1 minutes, then quick release. Meanwhile, dice or shred the chicken.
Return the chicken back to the pot. Adjust the seasonings to your liking and serve.
Slow Cooker Directions
Add chicken, onions, carrots, stock and seasonings to slow cooker. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-4 hours.
Remove the chicken to a cutting board and add the pasta. Cook on high for 20 minutes.
Dice or shred the chicken and add back to the pot. Adjust the seasoning and serve.
Notes
Feel free to add diced celery and a bay leaf to the pot if desired. (Add with the other veggies and seasonings.) Just be sure to remove the bay leaf before serving.
