Chocolate whipped cream is light and light, fluffy, and only takes 3 ingredients. It is also lightly sweet and a great mild chocolate flavor. It is a perfect topping for so many desserts or serve it with fresh berries.
In a medium bowl, stir together cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
Stir in about a tablespoon of cream until smooth. This step will help get any lumps out of the dry ingredients.
Stir in the rest of the cream. Slowly increase the speed of the mixer until it is on high.
Whip until you have stiff peaks. Once you have soft peaks, check the whipped cream every 10 seconds or so to make sure you don't overwhip the cream.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a day or two.
Notes
You can use 1 Tablespoon of granulated sugar in place of the powdered sugar.Chilling the mixing bowl and beaters before you use them will help the cream to whip faster.
