Sweet Cream Cheese Stuffed Crescent Rolls
Crescent rolls stuffed with lightly sweetened cream cheese are a perfect treat. They are great for breakfast with a cup of coffee. The best part is they are super easy to put together. You can be enjoying a flaky pastry in almost no time.

Ingredients
3
oz
cream cheese
softened
½
cup
powdered sugar
½
teaspoon
vanilla extract
Optional: 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or a tablespoon of fruit preserves

tube crescent rolls*
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F
Mix together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla and cinnamon if desired
Put a heaping tablespoon worth of filling on the wide end of a crescent triangle
Roll the dough over once, pressing around the filling to seal it in
Continue to roll dough until you reach the point. Place on a cookie sheet
Bake for 11-13 minutes
Let cool slightly then lightly dust with powdered sugar
Notes
*You can also use 1/4 batch of
homemade crescent roll dough
if you have some in the freezer!
