Slow Cooker Cheesy Kielbasa and Pierogis Casserole
Make creamy pierogis and kielbasa with the help of your Crockpot for an easy and filling meal. This comforting casserole has a creamy sauce and melted cheese to make it an easy and family friendly dinner.
Grease slow cooker insert. Add 32 oz. frozen pierogies, 1 lb. kielbasa, 2 cups chicken broth and ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
Stir in ½ of the 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese and ½ cup sour cream. Top with remaining cheese. Cover and cook on high for 20-30 minutes more. The cheese should be melted and the sauce should be thick.
Serve topped with chives or green onion if desired.
