Beat
1 cup butter
until smooth, creamy and lump free.
Mix in
4 cups powdered sugar
until incorporated.
Add
1 teaspoon lemon extract
,
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
and 1 Tablespoon of grenadine. Beat until well mixed.
Add more grenadine or lemon juice as needed to get your desired flavor and consistency.
Notes
If using unsalted butter, add a small pinch of salt to the recipe.
