This creamy pasta salad with peas and bacon is the perfect side dish for all of your summer BBQs, picnics, and more. It is a mash up of two favorite side dishes and the combination is delicious.
Cook pasta to al dente according to the package directions. Drain and rinse with cool water.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the dressing ingredients.
Add the drained pasta and stir to coat.
Put the bacon, cheese, and peas in the bowl. Stir everything together.
Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Notes
Possible additions: ¼ cup of diced red onion is great in this pasta salad. Hard boiled eggs also make a great addition. You can also add celery or diced bell pepper for more crunch.
