Apple Salad with Honey Yogurt Dressing
If you are looking for a fresh, fruity side dish, this apple salad fits the bill. It is cool and crunchy. The honey yogurt dressing has cinnamon and vanilla making it extra delicious. This simple healthy side dish is perfect for so many occasions.

Ingredients
4
apples
2
cups
seedless grapes
1
cup
plain yogurt
2
Tablespoons
honey
2
Tablespoons
lemon juice
½
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
½
teaspoon
vanilla extract
Instructions
Wash and dry all of the fruit. Cut
2 cups seedless grapes
in half. Core the
4 apples
and chop them into small cubes.
Toss the apples in the
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
.
Mix together
2 Tablespoons honey
,
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
,
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
and
1 cup plain yogurt
.
Toss fruit in dressing and serve or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Try adding whatever fruit you like. We've enjoyed berries and bananas mixed in as well!
You can use vanilla yogurt instead of plain. Just omit the vanilla extract and reduce the honey to 1 Tablespoon or omit.
This recipe works with both standard yogurt and Greek yogurt.
For added crunch, try stirring in some chopped toasted pecans or peanuts. Both are delicious in this salad.
