These Oreo balls are made with sweetened condensed milk instead of cream cheese. The results are everything you would want for the to be. Make a batch this Christmas to see for yourself!
Put Oreos in food processor and process into crumbs.
Add about 3/4 cup of condensed milk and pulse until combined.
Add condensed milk a little at a time, processing after each addition until the mixture forms a dough like texture.
Use a small cookie scoop to portion out a Tablespoon of the mixture and roll it between your hands to form a ball. Place on a wax or parchment paper lined baking sheet. Repeat until all of the cookie mixture is formed into balls.
Freeze for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Coat the frozen Oreo truffles in white chocolate. Place them back on the wax paper and quickly top with sprinkles before they set.
Allow to set completely before moving to an airtight container for storage.
Notes
Oreo truffles can be stored for up to 3 days at room temperature, 3 weeks in the refrigerator or 2 months in the freezer.
