This fun red white and blue stained glass jello is perfect for patriotic summer holidays like Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. However you can mix and match the colors to make it perfect for any holiday or event.
Mix blue jello with 2 cups boiling water and pour into a small baking dish (a square or loaf pan would work great).
Mix red jello with 2 cups boiling water and pour into a different baking dish. Chill both for at least 3 hours or overnight.
Cut up jello into cubes. Scatter cubes of red and blue jello in 9x13 pan.
In a separate large bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin into 1/2 cup cold water and allow to sit for 5 minutes. After the gelatin blooms (it will look mostly dissolved and get wrinkly on the surface), add 1 1/2 cups boiling water and stir to dissolve.
Add the can of condensed milk and stir to combine; set aside to cool to room temperature.
Pour the cooled sweeten condensed milk mixture over the red and blue jello blocks in the baking dish. Chill overnight.
If desired, cut with star cookie cutters. I like to use the medium cutter as it works best with a spatula to help scoop out the star.
